Sustainable Ray D Ohhh

I want to thank Sara Wasserman, who is more than just a friend to the proGram, for once again bringing us information on what’s going on. We chatted this time about the show lined up honoring Mr. Willie Nelson for his work with using energy responsibly and efficiently. On July 22nd the Sustainable Biodiesel Alliance is teaming up with the Amazon Watch for a ‘first of it’s kind’ fundraiser event at the beautiful Bently Reserve building in Downtown San Francisco. In the past biofuels, including biodiesel have been connected to deforestation and rain forest endangerment through massive scale palm oil and soy production. This event will help educate the public on how supporting local, sustainable biodiesel production and using local renewable resources instead of feedstocks like international soy and palm can protect our planet’s precious rain forests. To learn more head here. Oh yeah the music:
