The second half of the proGram featured a live on air conversation with Marc-Andre Manseau, who together with Helgi Piccinin are in process of completing a documentary on the legendary, Mr. Bernard PRETTY Purdie. We discussed the R& D process behind the film, the kind of man Mr. Purdie is, not just as a musician and how people can help pull this project together. It was a great introduction to the project and we wish them well.

There was also a good amount of music in this half of the show, which will get us to the music of King Curtis, featuring Mr. Purdie on drums. The live track really accentuates the sound we all have come to diGG in the world of da funk music. Here’s what it was:

A big thank you to Janet Schiff of Nineteen Thirteen for introducing the listeners to the their latest cello-pretation….”Summertime”, featuring Janet on Cello, Nez on Drum, fellow Frail Paganite Victor DeLorenzo on drums, friend of the proGram Mr. Rob Wasserman on bass and introducing Monia on vocals.
