The new season was announced today with a special “Media Day” event to unveil the variety of shows set to make their way into Madison for the 2009-2010 season at the Overture Center for the Arts. I took a behind the scenes tour of the facility, which certainly was impressive and mingled with some others in the local media world while keeping my friends with the hors d’oeuvres busy and laughing. Here are what I would consider some highlights of the upcoming season:
